This is a book that teaches you, the way our bodies are created to eat and how to stop, heal and even reverse diseases. The weight loss is a great side effect of eating correctly. I an my wife have been eating this way since Valentines Day 2016 and have reduced our bodies of over thirty pounds. But more importantly, we have reduced our toxins, which prevent you from losing weight and feeling great. We sleep great, are never hungry, don't crave junk foods. I learned a lot about why we eat what we eat (cravings) and how what we eat affects our lives. My mom told me to buy this book as I am over 100 lbs overweight and my knees hurt so bad I could barely walk up and down the stairs in my house. I eat as much fruit as I want for breakfast, a big salad with raw veggies for lunch, a big salad with veggies and 2 cooked veggies for supper, a fruit if I am hungry for desert or before bedtime...loosing 1 lb a day! My knees stopped hurting on day 5 of the program ... it is amazing. I am not hungry and if I am there is no limit to what I can eat of these items. I have more energy and am looking forward to loosing all of this weight that has me slowed down. Life is to short to waste. Recommended by a long time friend after my first trip to ER for high blood pressure. This is NOT a fad diet but takes a lifestyle approach to change eating habits to improve your overall health. Has the research and also user stories telling of their successes in using fruits and veggies rather than the "traditional American" meat and potatoes. Drop fast food and soda, limit meat/fish/dairy/oils and eat lots of salads and fruit. Lost 18 pounds in two months so far.
