This is such a great idea and was the last piece I needed to complete my new wood stove and chimney installation. In the past I would have had to cut the flue pipe that goes from the stove to the ceiling box to size, then install the double wall pipe in the attic , fitting it in on top. This allowed my to get everything installed from ceiling to roof beforehand, then bring in the new stove and finally instal this flue pipe. Basically, it is two pipes of similar diameter , one fits inside the other. First, I pushed the bottom of the pipe into the flue collar, then , extended the top pipe into the ceiling box. Then you drill 3 or 4 small holes and screw in the metal screws to secure it in place. My only complaint would be that when you slide one pipe into the other, then extend it back out to install it, some of the paint gets scraped off , leaving a bare metal scratch. This is easily remedied by a quick shot of flat black high temp paint. I was concerned that the place where the two pipes come together would look kind of janky, but from across the room, it looks like one solid pipe, from stove to ceiling. Looks great and is rock solid.Read full review

This stove pipe was a prefect replacement. No seams to leak. Looks great and so easy to install. No need to angle it to fit. Just pull out to fit. Highly recommended it.
