Right out the box SWR 2:1 on 11 meters ....I use 20 1K ohm 1/4 watt 1% resistors in parallel soldered them inside the middle of the pl-259 connector then Soder the opposite side to the outside of the pl-259 connector and Wallah 50 ohm dummy load with flat SWR..... I'm new to the Hobby so I enjoyed this project.... so if you're looking for to get flat SWR right out the box it might not happen

I left neutral feedback on this purchase so as not to penalize the seller because I assume he's just selling what he's buying and not really concerned with the quality of the product. This is NOT a 50-ohm dummy load. I have no idea what it is but when I connect it to my analyzer - running at CB frequencies, it gives an SWR of infinity and a resistance of about 5 ohms. I'm sure glad I didn't connect this to my radio and key up! Avoid this POS product - get a real dummy load if that's what you need.

I had one very similar to this before but it got legs in a briefcase that was liberated from my unlocked car. I use it to check my swr meter and cabling. Actually better than what I had, the bulb is replaceable. Thanks !!
