I really like this book. It's filled with so many ideas to become creative even if you are a beginner. There are items that are suggested to make your creations pop. I like drawing zentangles which are repetitive designs that can be incorporated in your art work that can add depth and interest. I would recommend this book to anyone that may be afraid of the blank page or hasn't attempted this type of artistic expression. You can use magazine clippings and build patterns around the image. The ideas are endless. And what you create doesn't have to be perfect. Just have fun. You are only limited by your imagination. You may surprise yourself. I think it's a good book to get you started. And if you don't like what you come up with, keep experimenting until you do. Or cover it with another sheet of blank paper and begin again. Just try it. Read full review

I like parts of this book, but overall it is not quite what I ewxpected. I realize this type of art is very popular right now, and I am learning to appreciate it. I like the picture of the lady on the cover and some of the ladies in the book...but not the ones with the blue faces. Others might enjoy it, however. It does contain many suggestions.
