I'm a pet lover and a penny pincher. When I saw this book advertised on E-Bay I just knew it was for me! When it arrived I started reading it immediately! The recipes are mostly simple, upfront , and easy to make. The directions are clear. AND there is a pretty good variety of goodies included for your own special pooch! Does your dog need a bite of carrot when you have carrot? How about sherbert? And maybe something crunchy when you settle in together to watch some TV? Recipes including these ingredients or types of snacks are all included, along with many others. The book itself is a good quality. It's sturdily made, so that if my doggie decides to help me in the kitchen it won't fall apart if it should happen to fly to the floor suddenly. And it includes lots of pictures; some of the snacks and some of doggies (who are probably just as spoiled as mine!) It's 112 pages of pure fun for the dog fancier who enjoys puttering in the kitchen to make healthful treats for "man's best friend" and saving money in the bargain! I would heartily recommend this book!Read full review
I bought the book to make goodies for my little girl and guy and I am sure they will enjoy them. I have not make anything out of it yet but it does have a lot of great recipes, I told my daughter maybe they could make something out of it for their dog rescue fair.
I love the variety of recipes. I love making my dogs homemade treats and this is why I purchased the book. I love to give them something weekly.
