Yes, *tool*. For real. The bits are in three useful sizes, including one small enough for my glasses. The working bit is held magnetically in the white end, which stabilizes it for easy use. It's made of metal, well-balanced and substantial. It just feels really good in the hand. Leaving aside the practicalities, it's totally fun to have around. My one criticism is that the sound seems a little off, that is, not as warbly as I remember. One tiny off-note in an otherwise fabulous item. A must-have for the practical Doctor Who fan.

I expected that if I paid more I would get a better product, and this is the better product! It is heavy, metallic, and had a functioning light and sound combined with actual screwdriver bits! The only down side is the button to turn on the light and buzzer is tiny and hard to press. Otherwise, an excellent techie toy!

So far I think this is not only the best screwdriver I've used but the fact that it's really great for Do It Yourself jobs around your home and workplace(I use this when I do volunteer work for my church) and it double as a cosplay screwdriver too (but take the self adjusted screws our thought)

It's got some heft to it. I was expecting more of a toy, so that's my fault. It's cool for teenagers, the top doesn't open, it does light up and make noise. If your looking for a cool screw driver this is it. If your looking for a toy this isn't the one for you.

Heavy replica feels solid, looks realistic, no articulation, has light and sound. "New in Box" Packaging was worse for wear.
