If you are a Civil War nut, the book is great. It will inform you about various theaters of the war that you might not have known much about, by showing how the CSA could have done things differently. However, if you are looks for political statements (i.e. slavery was bad, or the South was Right!) save your money. Think of the book more as what if of Super Bowl games (the LA Rams could have beaten the Steelers in the 1980 Super Bowl by running an end around at the start of the 4th quarter.) Should you like this sort of tactical detail the book is well worth the price?
Title review pretty much sums it up. Glad I didn't pay much for it. Probably destined to the trash can. Seriously!
