I have purchased so many sears over the years and I always have to use my ed brown sear jig and stones to get that glass type break and light pull every 1911 needs. I tossed this is without touching it at all and its amazing!! Highly recommend this sear as it makes my trigger job tools obsolete.

Installed with no problem , this was combined with a Wilson combat trigger, hammer and sear spring, which made my trigger go from sucky to learning not to double tap on accident. Very light crisp trigger.

This is the finest sear I've ever purchased. The face was already polished to a mirror finish. I stoned it in my jig anyway,it was square and true from Wilson. all i had to do was put a crisp interference angle on it. This thing breaks like butter easy 2-1/2 pound trigger. DO NOT waste money on any other sear. Trust me this sear is worth every penny Regards, Scott

Used the Wilson sear with a new Colt Gold Cup hammer. Trigger pull is at a smooth 5 lbs with a lightened sear spring. Not as light as I thought it would be but no creep and crisp break. Hoping it will break in to about 4 lbs. put gunslick on interface and will shoot a bunch of rounds. So far only 100 rds shot.
