I am not a huge fan of the game myself, i can't sing either. My wife and kids love it... my three year old daughter can fake it enough to get a good score even. I will get talked into singing soon enough i am sure. It has plenty of songs and videos, it is entertaining and it might even make you aware of a voice you didn't think you had. Not many people are tone deaf, we just struggle to stay on track maybe... If you can get it used, great, if not, a new one would still be worth it. Good fun and entertainment, learn a little even!
If you like karaoke and yoi have a wii can't go wrong here.

I ordered Wii Sing-it for my 12 and 8 year old daughters for Christmas. They love to sing and are enjoying this but the microphone did not come with the package. Our walmart and local stores did not carry the microphone, so we bought Wii Boogy (not sure of exact name) which included the mic. They like the boogy one a lot better becuase you can create a character that competes to be a star and you dance as well as sing
I know it’s a singing game, but i really just wanted it to play the disney songs for my 3 yr old. But the songs won’t play unless a usb microphone is plugged in! :(

I bought Disney Sing It Pop Hits first for a party my little girl was having. It is WONDERFUL, however, the only song the little girls all knew was The Climb. I decided to purchase the original Sing It when I saw all of the songs are very familiar to my little girl. We love it!!. Two of her friends have borrowed the disk for birthday parties and have loved it as well. I highly recommend this game!!!
