Had a problem with my amp picking up radio station in my music room and with this pedal you use the clean channel thus not amplifying the background interference. Problem solved!! Haven't used the loop recording or drum effects yet but this is a quality pedal. it was very easy to setup and play and the sound is excellant!! If you bought all of the pedals individually that this unit replicates it would cost you several thousand dollars. Get one and you won't be sorry!! I've been jamming for almost 25 years, almost know how to play guitar now LOL.

Received and did not work as described, either through a computer or through Amp. The pedal does not and cannot pick up strumming. I have tried on several different amps and on a buddies equipment who has the exact same pedal (except working) and still nothing. Was excited to receive but am more than a little disappointing.

Recently I bought an amplifier which didn't have a reverb, delay line, over drive... It was bare bones. The RP 155 helped me to fill all of these while also providing me with amp modeling, to even improve the sound of my amplifier. While I can't read all of the small print on the pedal, the Xedit software you can down load from the digitech website http://www.digitech.com/en-US/products/rp155 is great. I created about 30 variations for the fender champ and stored them in my pedal on day3. The pedal is strong and reliable. The standard stomp box collection its supports is very good, so overall for me its great! The price point is excellent since a single stomp box can cost 45 to 90 and I paid 65 dollars for a long list of pedals and features! The basic difference from the RP 255 is the volume pedal, which I don't use that much, also saving money. I plan on having lots of fun with this pedal. One side benefit is that it can teach you about using effect pedals. The two weak sides are the looper which only does 20 seconds and the drum pattern selector which could provide more realistic rhythms, though it does also have some nice metronomes in common meters. The only thing I don't like is the tuner, which seems difficult. I also have the Digitech GNX-4 which is a larger model, which has a long looper. And I have Boss Dr5 rhythm box, which may have better drum patterns. Still the RP 155 fills my needs for the new amplifier with quality. I used to have a GT-3 that I used for gigs and practice. My amp then was a Mesa DC-3. Now I have a small fender practice amp and a strat. No future gigs planned at this point. I wanted something that I could record with as well. So far I am very pleased with the unit, and like it better than the GT-3. My main tone is clean with a delay, chorus, and some distortion. To me it is much easier to dial in a tone with this RP than with the GT-3. I am using Reaper on my laptop, and it sees the RP155 fine. Still early going for me on getting tracks down, but the RP155 is easy to edit especially with the X-Edit software. Changing the sounds with unit itself takes a bit more time without the software, but still very quick in my opinion. Excellent design by Digitech, which I think is used across the RP family of products. Drum machine is ok and easy to use. 20 second looper is great, but you cannot do the drums with the looper. Cons: The drums and looper not working at the same time. Also no quick way to pull up a preset number. You have to click through to the one you want. So if you are editing preset #45, and want to save it to #2, you have to pedal down to it. Not a big deal but I would imagine they find a way around this in the future. 5 out of 5 stars for me. Experience: 5 years gigging 10 times a month, had the GT-3 and Line6 POD before this. Had a full home studio for about 7 years.Read full review
I have owned other DigiTech synthesizers, but for ease of operation, quality of sound and the price, no other multi-effects guitar pedal compares with this one. I HIGHLY recommend this product!
