It's almost like the author was in my brain. I am a bride-to-be and have already gone through some of the challenges the main character faces. And even better yet, the author has got a great sense of humor in this one! This book is for anyone who has been a bride, is going to be a bride, or anyone who has had to be in a wedding! Enjoy!
I had a hard time getting started with this book, and actually put it down several times before finally giving it a chance. One i got accustomed to the writing style and diary format of this book, i really enjoyed it. It is definitly a laugh out loud book and a very quick book to read. If you want a fun book with little to no thinking involved on the part of the reader, this is the book. It did seem to waste a lot of space with the "lists" but still, I read purely for pleasure and this book gave me that!
Years ago my maid of honor gave me this book right after I got engaged. It was a hysterical read that offered enough humor to get through some of the stresses of planning a wedding. So when my sister got engaged a few weeks ago, I knew I had to share this book with her, too. The book is a quick fun read that deserves to be shared with a soon to be bride, mother of the bride, or anyone who knows someone getting married!
This book was mildly entertaining but *and not to sound like a snob* it made me wonder how it was ever published. I fluffy book with lots of lists and screenplay like dialogue that seemed more of a challenge to get through than an escape to enjoy.
