The pond came with some skating figures, but not North Pole type. I have bought a separate set that are elves. The elves box shows them on the exact same pond, but they don’t work well. The figures spin around and skate backward! Or they skate off the track and frequently have to be re-positioned. Not real happy about the quality. I’ll keep all this to add to my granddaughter’s North Pole village next year, maybe she won’t mind using the ‘regular’ people skaters that work best with the pond.

I specifically ordered this product for the skating rink. After several years, the one I had for my Christmas village stopped working. Since my wife and I both liked this set, I thought I could replace it without having to buy a new one. Unfortunately, the rink that came with these replacement parts also didn't work. We were very disappointed and now I'll have to buy a new one after all, if I can get it. Now I have two useless skating rinks instead of one.

Save your money this looks like a fun animation to add to a village however after using only one night, Christmas Eve the Christmas day it was stuck, wouldn't move. Poor choice if you want movement.
