I liked the versatility of being able to take the MyFi anywhere. I can carry it on my belt with earphones, use it in my car with the vehicle accessories, or hook it up to my home receiver with the dock. You can use this with the Car Dock via either the Radio Signal (illegal now) or Tape player. The remote is very nice to have if you use it in the car or home dock because changing the channels is difficult with the small buttons. There are a lot of changes yo can make with the MyFi, like you can have scores of your favorite teams scroll on the bottom of the screen, stock reports can be scrolled also. What I don't like is the size of the MyFi, the "Personal" antenna, and the scrolling lines. The MyFi is too big to be a personal device and you have to use the clip on antenna that really makes you look like a geek because you have the headphone wire and the antenna wire hanging around your body. The scrolling lines (with stock updates or score updates)is almost impossible to read while it's scrolling. All in all, this is a good satellite radio receiver with many options, but using it as a personal device will be difficult.Read full review
I listen to music more than the average person. We are almost halfway between Chicago and Indianapolis and don't have a lot of worthwhile FM radio choices. Put up an antenna to receive FM stations....good news is that we found about 20 stations we could pickup....bad news is that a majority of them are not what we would listen to. Also was streaming a few different Chicago stations for awhile and found that the commercials on internet radio (because they have fewer sponsors) are quite repetitive and obnoxious. The XM gives great commercial free choices and offers the hard rock / metal I prefer. Costs $12 monthly plus one-time $15 activation / all done online in minutes / no long calls to place the order. The XM2go works best with the home-style antenna and docking stations. Have one in the garage and one in the house. If we ever own an older vehicle, this will broadcast to an FM radio as well, so no pulling radios out of dashes etc. Fits perfectly into my world.Read full review

Radio easy to use, even more so than my prior Samsun Nexus 50, which recently gave out. Unfortunately sound quality is a little flat, but it is not the fault of the radio. XM is holding back on the bit rate. If they upped the kbps to 128, all XM radios would have more bass and clarity. Hey, if Dish Network and Directv provide a crystal clear and high def tv signal, why not not do the same with XM?
I miss my TAO. Bought this because it was less expensive than a new (no longer manufactured TAO and because all the TAO parts should work with it. That has only partially been true. It plugs into one speaker/charger, but not the other. The speaker/chargers are identical and the TAO worked with both, so I don't know. The FM Modulator is terrible. There is tons of static or it doesn't seem to pick up at all! What good is that?! Had no problem with the TAO. The TAO, however, was not "perfect". It stopped charging the battery and I had problems with the antenna-cradle in the car. Next time I think I'll just spring for a completely new radio/set-up. Still, if I had to choose between the TAO and MiFi again, I'd go TAO.
compact size. great for carrying. listen to satellite radio while driving, walking, exercising, in your home. easy to use. clear display.
