I purchased this monitor as Dell is the only brand I will buy because in my opinion they have the best quality monitors and computers on the market. Unfortunately, when purchased we did not read far enough into this particular monitor to find that it does not go up or down nor does it accomodate an arm to which can be attached making it do so which makes it very nonergonomic. I therefore had to give it a below average rating because of this. If you sit and transcribe for 9 to 12 hours a day, occasionally more, you must be able to move your monitor up or down, tilt the angle, etc. to your liking at any given moment. Therefore, I had to give it to my husband and purchase yet another Dell monitor that does have the features that this one does not, which was also purchased from ebay!
I ordered this without reading the full description. I really wanted a working monitor, but I was surprised that the condition of the monitor was excellent (except that it didn't power up). I think I can fix it with some new components. It was an excellent purchase, and I am excited about getting it up and running,
