Good - + It's small. I use this on my BMW R1200RT motorcycle and it is great for small or tight spots. + The bits eject well; the bit literally spits out when you want it out by pulling back on the release. + The bit is easy to slip in. All of this can be accomplished one handed. + It can be forwarded or reversed using the gyroscopic engineering...That technology is new to me, but it's cool. It functions no matter how you hold it; in pistol grip or in screw driver mode; upside down or sideways. + The gyroscope speed is nice; I can speed up or slow down depending on how much twist I use on my wrist. + I love the clutch/variable torque and can adjust it from almost none to full-on mode. + It takes a charge nicely and holds power well. Bad - - I have nothing to say on the negative aspects; I've not found any. Oh and it was very inexpensive!!! I paid $69 new. Crazy price!Read full review

DeWalt is not the normal, not my everyday product to purchase. The batteries don't last as long and Milwaukee has filled that stop gap in the market of cordless hand tools and accessories. This has been my opinion for at least 20 years. However the DCF680 and the DCF682 with the gyroscopic technology movement is a game changer. Both are able to perform the same function. The DCF680 allows for the handle to twist and provide the 90 degree angle that the DCF682 is was missing. Both models have been a great addition to my toolbox of red Milwaukee products. The product is designed for small jobs wall outlet plate removal, putting together IKEA furniture, removing equipment from a rack - again small jobs that don't require much torque. You wont be disappointed.

I like DEWALT tools for their quality, and value for the price. This screwdriver is really nice. It has a great amount of torque, feels comfortable in my hand, and the 2 position handle is convenient at times. The way this tool works is really unique, in that, it'll run faster the more you twist your hand. Twist your hand the other way, and it reverses. It's very easy to use, much faster, and it sure beats using a regular screwdriver, especially since I have severe arthritis. I WAS surprised to see that it did not come with the two basic tips, phillips/blade. Still, a great investment, and good addition to your toolbox!!

I realise that I was lucky to get one of these in the UK. One of my colleagues really struggled to find one, so I’d say buy it the first chance you get, and here’s why.... Firstly, the compact size coupled with the very comfortable grip means that you can use the tool for long periods of time without becoming fatigued. Furthermore, The light around the Chuck is comprised of several bright LEDs; which is perfect for working in darkened places. Inside kitchen units, crawl spaces, underneath a piano? Perfect. Your working area is nicely lit, and the clever ring design doesn’t cast a shadow from the chuck. The gyroscopic motor takes a little time to get used to, but becomes second nature after a day of use. The gyroscopic motion offers the user a high level of control, which is perfect for delicate applications. Plus, the torque can be set using the dial. The quick release chuck is incredibly handy. It will take all your hex extension bits, plus your small screw bits. it is nicely machined with all metal parts. The battery life is very good, and the charge time is also excellent. Unlike cheap electric screwdrivers, the battery can be removed for charging and you can slide a freshly charged battery into the tools and continue working; meaning no downtime. It is not suitable for heavy duty applications. If you want to drive 100mm screws into a sleeper then this isn’t the tool to use; but that doesn’t mean it is weak. I was very surprised what I could ask of this little screwdriver.Read full review

I’ve owned one of these for over two years and recently lost it. This purchase was a replacement. As a cable tech I am constantly removing wall plates and installing cable hardware in customers homes. The quick release chuck makes swapping hits super easy and the gyroscopic directional feature makes it super easy to switch direction with no physical switch. Love this little drill. Unfortunately this is not made by dewalt any more. Thankful that I was still able to find one here.
