This is a great product, glad I could find one. Needed it as it is lighter in weight than the 18/20 volt models. Nice that is has the multi setting clutch. Too bad they are not making them any more.

My wife stole the first one for her shop, LOL!!! Had to get another, so versatile, perfect size, weight, great power, batteries are great for almost any job and if you have two, the dead one charges before you can run out the second one, Love It!!

I have been using the NiCD version of the 3/8" 12V cordless drill for the past year in HVACR work. The one I had was bulky and heavy without any lighting on the front. This new drill has all the capabilities of my old one, but with more features and more perks such as the lightweight batteries, compactness, and quicker charging time. DeWalt drills from my experience are the best, but if I was on a tighter budget I would get a cheaper drill as most of them are capable for my uses, but just trust my DeWalt. Only issue I have is the smell of these products when new as they have oil smells on them from manufacturing.
This is a great little cordless drill. I have used it to drive the screws in all my transition thresholds. It is small and compact but very powerful with it's two speed transmission and is fully capable of driving even 3" screws. I love the chuck also as you can tighten bits with just one hand. The lithium-ion batteries charge rapidly and last a good long time. The drill came with a total of three batteries so you never run out of power.
The second one I owned . the first is still going strong . It’s compact size fits were the 20 v can not and still gets the job done.
