This is a Delonghi ,that heats the water to 103 - 105 degree slow drip machine that produces the nectar or the gods to near perfection IMHO. I have been using this same model # for 20 years, buy them when offered new, I have 2-3 new machines on hand always - produces a great cup of coffe

First let me say I would buy from this e-bayer again as things went well, Now that being said. To answer your questions: I bought this DeLonghi DC312T to replace my Bunn Coffee Maker that has lasted us over 8 years. Thought I would try something new. This model DeLonghi DC312T makes coffee but does not get the coffee hot enough and to pre-set the timer for a certain time is very time consuming and as I'm getting older it is very hard to read the numbers. And no I would not buy this model again or recomend anyone to buy this particular model again. I use this daily and will do so until it quits and then will do more research before my next purchase. But like I said no complaints with the e-bayer as things went well and would do business with them again, thanks,Faye
Brew up to 14 cups (70 ounces) of great-tasting coffee with this easy-to-use drip coffeemaker. The unit's shower-head design helps extract coffee's full natural flavor by allowing water to completely saturate all coffee grounds, while its aroma button activates a unique brewing process that enhances the flavor and aroma of coffee. The coffeemaker achieves this full-bodied flavor by saturating the grounds a little at a time using a time-released process that dispenses water into the filter basket in 30-second intervals. It also provides a pause-and-serve function, for pouring a quick cup mid-brew, and a 24-hour programmable timer with two-hour automatic shut-off. Setting the timer allows for waking up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee or for having coffee ready to serve with dessert without having to get up from the table half way through dinner. Other highlights include simple push-button controls, a digital display, an internal water-level indicator, and a durable, easy-to-clean washable nylon filter, as well as a non-stick warming plate and cord storage to help keep counter-tops tidy. A glass carafe with a generous stay-cool handle and drip-free pour spout comes included. The drip coffeemaker measures approximately 12-1/2 by 9-3/4 by 8-1/2 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty. DeLonghi's 14-cup DC312T drop coffee maker has the unique aroma button that activates a brewing process to enhance the flavor and aroma of your coffee. To achieve this full-bodied flavor, the coffee maker advances through several continuous cycles. During the cycles, water is released into the filter basket in 30-second intervals. This allows the grounds to be saturated a little at a time to extract the best flavor and aroma from your coffee. The coffee maker also includes a 24-hour programmable timer, a durable and easy to clean nylon filter as well as cord storage.Read full review
Have been using said coffeemaker for a short time. But I feel it's the best one I've ever had. The coffee it make's is delicious, & I can make 14 cups using less coffee than I did with my 10 cup coffeemaker. The aroma feature take's longer to brew but is well worth the wait in flavor. It's very attractive & fit's right in with the decor of my kitchen. It's very reasonably priced as well. I feel I may have really hit a home run by purchasing this one.
Solid coffee machine, I like the capacity and it makes and keeps the coffee hot. I dont use the programmable feature, rather use fresh water that let it sit in the coffee maker all night, so never bothered to set the clock. The top snaps over the coffee grounds for uniform water dripping. I recommend when coffee is done brewing to unsnap the top as it relieves the pressure on the spring that stops dripping while pouring. My last Mr Coffee, coffee maker the spring broke and water was pumped into the coffee filter faster than the drip into the pot!
