It has nice coverage of most of the topics, particularly if you already sort of half-know them. It might be harder to use if you're completely knew to the subject; I wouldn't know. However, the book is pretty poorly typeset (primes overlapping and the like, just sloppy stuff) and contains a bunch of typos. There are also a few points where they talk about something as if you've already covered in, when in fact it's not introduced until two chapters later. Overall, though, I like the book. A much more serious introduction than Litvin, which I used for my AP CS course in high school.
An excellent book. Topics were explained better than most other similar books I have read. Given the small size of this book, it does a wonderful job at explaining things. Some cons and advice: This is not a book for Java or Data Structure beginners. I would buy a full-blown data structure book along with a Java reference book. The people that know Java and some data structure this book serves well at tying Java and data structure. Could use more examples but then the book will be much thicker.
Great Quality

Bought this book for a course I'm taking. the initial java review is fast but good. just getting into the course but it seems ok for now.
Great book on this topic, if not the greatest! Nicely organized and built up from the basics to the details. Easy to understand.
