Wow! I was expecting to enjoy this book, but I was unprepared for just how captivating it was. Dark Slayer is now on my Top-5 list and since I'm a serial reader, that's saying something. If you are new to the Carpathian series, it's imperative to start with a much earlier book, mine was Dark Demon, and read down to this one otherwise you'll lose the gravity of the details and plot. However, I would definitely recommend buying this one. I will certainly be re-reading Dark Slayer in a few months.

these two outcasts make the carpathian world brighter and more vibrant. great read. christine feehan really make4s this troubled couple amazingly real. the carpathian people need their talents to help them survive. ivory is amazing and razvan is vindicated after so many years.
I bought this book because it is a part of the series she has been writing for a while. It was a pretty good book, and basically is advancing the series just enough. There is so much information in the book, but I felt it could of had a little more. It is about Ivory Malinov and Razvan. Razvan is of the Dragonseeker lineage and Ivory is strong because of what she has been thru. It is a good cumilation to the point of the story and of course when it ends you know there will be future books to keep the story moving.
I love this book! I fell in love with this series a year or so ago and when I heard about this book comin out I could not wait to get it! I love the characters I never would have guessed one of them and the other I hoped would come to life and find his lifemate. Most read for everyone!!
I think Christine Feehan is one of my most favorite authors, She is a descriptive writer, Once you start reading her books putting them down is not an option,She is detailed as much as you are there with the characters. I bought the book beacause it is the only one I did not have of her books.
