Generally a good DVD set. A few disks were more difficult to play (could usually solve the problem by switching to a different DVD player), but most were OK. Overall, it was worth the effort to return to memory lane and watch this series again.

I have very fond childhood memories of watching this series with my parents every week. Being from Texas, and North Texas at that, I love everything about 'Dallas'. The cheesy 80s hair & makeup, the "wheelin' & dealin'" and that signature J.R. smirk, all remind me of the power-hungry spirit that many people of the 80s embodied. Season 5 is full of surprises, as usual. Bobby & Pam adopt a child, but where did he come from? J.R. & Sue Ellen get a divorce, but will they ever rekindle their rocky romance? And is Jock really lost?? These DVDs are a great addition to your movie library and make it really easy for you to get sucked into the life of the Ewing clan!! I'm only sorry that Season 6 isn't out yet... :)
I remember watching this in the 80's! Such great memories. Getting cought up all over again. As great as I remember.👍👍

i love watching dallas fighting the ewing oil business, pam and bobby are my favorite couple with true love and jr the treating scum husband, sue ellen the drunk and lucy and mitch sorry to see their marriage end cause i liked them as a couple, miss ellie is one fasty lady and she can hand those whild ewinging men,ray i liked him as the ranch man not like bobby and jr ewing by this season, it was sad when jock died he had made a great actor, pam's sucide was very sad and then bobby dealing with christopher birth thinking it was jr, this season was different and great cause of jocks death and pam sucide
I like every scene part of Dallas. JR"s character was, you love to hate, because of his humerous side, can't help but loving him. Dallas is like what's going on in the real world in many differant ways, one example is petrolium. It was sad for the Jr's father was gone. But the show went on. I liked Cliff so very much, he was funny too. And I liked Cliff's mother (which is one of the reasons I brought the tape). The whole show just had so much going on like, Dusty, Cathrine, Mrs Ellie and plenty of others. it just kept you on the side of your chair. It's one of the best tv's soap shows I have ever liked
