The Great Horned Owl comes highly recommended. It solved the problem of "nesters" above the front entrance and in a wreath hanging near the front door. So easy and effective!

The concept is good, but the inflation valve on this owl will not seal in the air, so the owl deflates within minutes of being blown up. Part of the problem may be the flat vacuum pack method for packaging the owl. The packaging crushes and deforms the inflation valve, so that it will not seal. In addition to that problem, the inflation valve is so short that one can hardly get one's mouth around the valve to blow into it. So, this concept is good but the product is poorly executed. I recommend the hard plastic owls instead..

This was recommended to me by a neighbor. We have a problem with birds building nests under our gutters. As it turns out, I received this too late, and the eggs were already laid and hatched, and I won't disturb now, but my neighbor said that with this outside her house, she didn't get a nest this year, so I'll be sure to put mine up next year. She said it was really easy to put it up.

This great horned owl really works. I perched him on a stick n my small tomato patch in my backyard and the birds stay away. Of course you need to move him around about once a week so the birds are convinced he's real.

Looks just like it is advertised. Comes with the laces to tie him to a pole, if desired. I am trying to keep hawks away because I have Doves (actually white homing pigeons) who fly free when they choose (and also have a lovely Dovecote)
