Duco cement may not exceed the strength of super glue in lab tests but in reality world use it bests it by magnitudes in most applications and often works better than primium epoxies. Sadly it is hard to find. Thilled I got it on eBay and while I didn't need 6 tubes it seems I've already used two ... Regluing old failing bonds on household products I fixed using super glue and epoxy. And it lasts through repeated runs in the dishwasher. I even fixed a flippee denture with it -- after the dog chewed it into 5 pieces.(I let it cure for a week to ensure I didn't poison myself) One note: while it dries clear like epoxy, like epoxy, it yellows significantly over time. I do not recommend it for setting rhinestones or other gems ...e6000 and similar products are better for jewelry repairs unless the bond is completely hidden.Read full review

when they arrived (just a week before her birthday) one of the main stones had fallen out. I was very upset and was about to message the seller when I decided to do some research instead. Come to find out, often when jewelry is shipped the jostling while in transit causes these fragile pieces to come apart. I was going to use super glue to try and repair it but found that using such products in the past to be both messy and not tacky enough to hold as well there is usually an adverse reaction with the paint used to back the stone. I used this instead, followed the directions, and found the earrings the next day looking brand new. Thanks

I have been using this for many years, so many in fact my mother had it. I have found this to be a great product. It doesn't stick to your hands and doesn't come apart once it is glued together. My cat knocked my coffee cup over and broke the handle duco cement was able to paste it together. Its a fabulous product and highly recommend it. I have found nothing negative about this product.

I use this product to build wood structures for my model railroad layout. It dries fairly quickly to a strong bond. I also use it for household repairs like mending broken china.

Even though there are a lot of products such as Loctite, Gorilla, etc., out there, Duco is still the best general purpose cement. It's rather difficult to find locally because some of the big names like Loctite and Gorilla spend a lot of money marketing their product so I bought it online. In the meantime I've found that ACE Hardware still carries it which is great. The other products have more specific uses and work well when used for the specific application but Duco is more general purpose and works very well on most things. Duco is also cheaper then the other brand names - that's two pluses. Can't beat that.
