This movie, based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's book of the same name, is very odd. It's story stops abruptly, with a brontosaurus collapsing into the sea. Not many movies can claim an ending like that! The plot is really all over the place, with threads that go nowhere (i.e., some romantic entaglements) and, like I said, when it ends, you feel like saying, "Really? You're ending it right now?" However, there is an upside to the movie; you get to see some great early stop motion animation created by legendary animator Willis O'Brian, the same animator behind "King Kong". It is fascinating to watch, but otherwise, this movie isn't really worth seeing.
Excellent silent film featuring early work of the master willis o'brien, his stop motion techniques wil live on forever! he is the master who brought us the timeless classic king kong!! this silent film features wallace berry, and is just a very fun film to view.being a huge dinosaur fan this movie is just amazing, and filled with many stop motion dinosaurs, especially enjoy the scenes with the apatasaurs in london,,great film i bought for an excellent price from an ebay seller-recommend to all dinosaur and stop-motion animation fans!!
