I bought the 2100 to replace a worn out 6.1 channel Denon I had for years. I do not use any of the "on line" features this unit has, so I will only comment on what I know. The set up was easy...after finding out the unit NEEDS to be re-set from the last owner...(push 2 buttons till it comes on.)...I used a camera tripod to use the included microphone. The auddessy did a good job giving the man-cave the "surround sound" I did add a few decibels to the center speaker for extra dialog. This model has the same volume control issue as most Denons...the sound doesn't start til the mid 30s on the dial. But that said...This receiver has excellent sound. The remote is not back lit, but the buttons are laid out nicely. The 95 watts per channel will cause the neighbors to look out their windows. All in all, a great receiver if you can get one in the 200 to 400$ range.Read full review

Denon has been recognized has having top quality products. I wanted the X2100W for it features such as bluetooth, and WiFi. I purchased it from Accessories for Less out of Orlando, Fl. It was a "Factory Refurbished" unit. The first one didn't work at all, the second one went in to protective mode right after turning on, now the third unit works except the Bluetooth will not sync up to the iphone. It did once, but will not any more, they want me to send it to the nearest service center at my expense. I think I am done with Denon.
Nothing but problems.. I had done setup several times checked and double checked all connections . I had an old Denon which was excellent but this one is thumbs down. Sound to speakers only works on some comcast TV channels Sound does not work for blue ray Spend about 6 hours trying to figure it out .. It should have been 10 minutes Unit gets extremely hot Extremely disappointed!
