GOOD: Fun game about drifting. Even tho there´s no carrer mode, you can participate in championships. No difficulty setup, but it automatically gets harder as you improve. Can get very challenging, and you must master all techniques to win. If you are just an "Outrun" fan who wants to go fast and crash walls to win, this game is not for you. Many different handling cars to choose from, a lot to discover on each of them. BAD: it is hard to tell if you are going to make thru the corner before you are there... UGLY: poor controller settings. gas/brake on the right, steer on the left. I configure every game with gas on left and steer on right, so it will take me several hours to get used to it. EXTRA: if you care about that, graphics are ok but not stunning. It is not GT4 for example, but is nice to see so many D1GP official cars.Read full review
Well where do I start? I'm a huge drift fan, done a lot of drifting before, worked on a pro-level drift team, have friends that are actually featured on this game, so this game was one that I couldn't pass up. I won this during an auction for $8 so I wasn't out a ton of money. Honestly, this game is pathetic. The game has the details, style of drifting, and the basics of it but it lacks the motorsport aspect. What do I mean? Like the AI of the game has no respect for racing line and racing rules. The controls are whacky and do not reflect actual driving. This is not close to simulation and it reminds me of a weak arcade game. Funny thing is that there has not been any recent video game that have featured these legendary vehicles on PS2 so this is something that is worth checking out if you like these cars. All and all, if you miss this one, you're not missing anything.Read full review
Old game, but kinda challenging. Graphics are decent, but it’s no Gran Turismo 4.

This is hands down the best drifting game on the market! All the popular drift cars from the D1 series are featured in this game. Graphics are solid along with the audio. The commentary from the annoucers can even be a little comical at times. Cars can be customized a little, paint-wheels-spoilers, and tuned slightly. Such a good game that after my kids scratched my first copy and it wouldn't play, I bought another. It's a blast to drive all the courses alone in time attack, while the competition tandem drifts are a challange.
