This mirror is a good alternative for drop bar bikes when you want something a little more streamlined and compact than the mirrors that stick way out from the bar end. Not quite the same field of view that you get from the typical style mirror but definitely better than no mirror at all! We put 2 on our tandem and once we go used to them we were, and still are, happy.

The good: it does what it supposed to do; allow the bike to see what's behind them without taking your eyes on what's in front of me. The not sound good: the image in my mirror was somewhat distorted and sometimes I had to look hard at it and it took a bit longer to see what's was behind me. Also the mirror would tilt (requiring had hand adjustments) whenever I hit a bumpy portion of the road). Some sort of adjuster to make the adjustment mechanism tighter would help.

This is my second 'Roadie' and I have been very satisfied. Similar products have convex mirrors that fail to give a wide view and thus compromises safety. You will see cyclists complaining about the convex mirrors because the depth of field is limited. The whole purpose is to see what's coming up behind me; not a close-up of who is behind me. Only complaint is that the mirror is easily moved if you bump it, however, it is easy to return it to it's previous position once you get the hang of it so it's no big deal. Also I have not had it move around when I ride over bumpy terrain.

Adjustment is easy..HAve one on each side. Only nit when I have to stop at lights my knée sometimes knocks it out of adjustment.
