I bought this pair of headphones because I needed a very sturdy and heavy-duty pair. First of all, the headphones are a little tight at first, so it will take a while to get used to it. The headphones have a stereo/mono switch on the left side, independent volume controls and a giant L/R on each side (the adjusters). The earpads are pretty small and are a bit uncomfortable after about a half-hour to an hour unfortunately, and the headband is made with heavy-duty plastic. The sound is average. Not an expensive Sennheiser or AKG, but still OK audio. These are recommended for users who want heavy-duty headphones, like schools, libraries, etc. It's NOT, repeat NOT for audiophiles.
Small for the ears and they do not cover ears at all. Not comfortable to keep on for more than a few minutes. The sound quality is okay but you never receive the good sound because the oblong cups sit on your ears. When they arrived the packaging brought back memories of childhood when cheaper products in ear phones was the norm. "Pro series" claim on box seems a little stretched.
