Does a great job. Adjusts to fine or course as expected. Been using this model for many years. They don't last forever. I've tried other brands but, have not been happy with results.

Best priced burr mill grinder on the market, but..does not grind particularly fine, this is my second unit, the last one stopped working after 3-4 years. The outlet chute can become clogged up and may shut down the grinder, so be prepared to clean out the grounds chute where they enter the holder (esp with greasy oily beans) . I got this slightly used for about $16 and really cant complain, and the next step up is grinders in the $120 range (look at Baratza) if you want really good control and long life. You get what you pay for. Don't expect the world or whine about a grinder that's $40 ok? It's adequate, probably great for the cabin, or to get you through occasional use. Ask for a Baratza next Christmas....

Works well (it is a coffee bean grinder and it performs that function) but there are a couple of "issues". Firstly it is quite loud. I understand it's a bean grinder but it's pretty loud. Also the canister the catches the grounds is impossible to detach from the machine without getting stray grounds all over the counter. Same thing goes for taking off the lid. The marked amount settings are a nice touch. It also grinds perfectly. All-in-all a great grinder for the price but is a tad messy.

I used to grind my coffee at the grocery, but they did away with the grinders when a well-known coffee company bought a huge display. I looked at a number of grinders and this one had good reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. I love it! You can select how fine or coarse you want the grind and grind as much as you want at a time. The burr grinder gives a very consistent grind. I usually grind enough for about a week and store it in an air-tight container. It's great to be able to do it myself at home and have fresh ground coffee whenever I want it.

Love this Mill Grinder! A little loud but who cares, I love my Harley Davidson too! We have a 14 cup Cuisinart Coffee Maker also and the capacity of the bean hopper is fantastic! I keep our regular beans in the hopper and when that’s empty I grind a half pound of decaf and put that in a can for separate daytime coffee. Buy one or two! I’ll be buying a second one for the cabin as i did with the coffee maker! Perfect pair for making awesome coffee that’s ready when we wake up! Threw our Bunn coffee makers away because faster isn’t always better if you can believe that! And the Cuisinart Programmable 14 Cup Coffee Maker is by no means that much slower than a Bunn! We now get 14 cups of fresh ground coffee every morning when we wake up! And our dog, well he now wakes us up if we sleep thru the Ready Beeper on the Coffee Maker!Read full review
