as far as operation of this bb/pellet rifle excellent . loading bb's is a pain as the loading hole is very small and on the back of the pistol grip part of the butt stock. As far as quality, it is an excellent little bb/pellet rifle for the price!!! I would recommend this pump to any one who is looking for a Plinker or small pest control

I can only say if you need a LOUD, inaccurate, air gun - this is it. It has NO power no matter how many pumps you give it. Will NOT shoot on same axis no matter how well sights are adjusted. Noisiest air rifle I've ever heard. This model is only good for showing how to load a BB gun and to pump the handle. After that, you might as well yell at your target. This air rifle will not help you. I cannot recommend this air gun. Even working the pump handle makes so much noise, you need to lock and load a day before you use it just to get close to your target. Broadsided barns are safe at 20 feet away. No need to adjust sights, gun never shots same trajectory, so no need to aim it. Better of holding this model by barrel, and swat target with the stock end. While not too terribly expensive, it is a total waste of design, effort, expense, and production. I do NOT recommend this model. Ammo used was exactly what maker said to use - rifle tested under using makers included instructions. Read full review

not the crosman of my youth, but still better than most...plastic stock and forearm /pump handle...bought it for my grandson...he was thrilled! So, that in itself is worth it...It really is not a toy...it will kill a squirrel with no problem with a B.B. or a pellet..so, dont think you can just let a kid loose without at least several hours of "training" ...to keep the power up, you do need to oil the piston...there is a marked drop as the "leathers" (we used to call them) dry out...buy the right oil....NO 3 in one.....Teach a kid early how to be responsile with a gun....and it will last a lifetime

I had a 760 type crosman for 25-30 years and it finally lost power. I was going to buy a repair kit however the kit cost almost as much as a new gun so I bought a new gun. I was never so disappointed in the poor quality and lack of power. I think I could throw a pellet farther by hand. Since I had discarded the old gun I hung the new one on the garage wall and that is where it's been since I bought it. I expected more from an old reliable company.

He even said he liked it better that the High dollar ones the shoot at school. His friend now practice with it too and Her score is getting better also. Great Value so has very high return of use!
