this drill is power full, looks to be well made, fit and finish very good. the drill I received worked great until about the 3rd hole. drilling a stump with a 3/4 bit x 6' deep. at the 3rd hole the drill stopped. I waited a second, pulled the trigger and it started again, then cut out again. once the drill was warm it would drill for a bit then stop, then start again, stop, etc. I got unlucky on the draw, this drill had a flaw, it was defective. I would recommend it because this was a factory defect, any product from any company can be defective. the reviews on the over all are great. ordered a replacement and it works perfect. I have 10 or more tools from the craftsman C3 line and all have worked well. its nice to have 1 battery and many tools trimmers etc that accept the same power source.Read full review

I have had one for five years and it works great. Lots of power to handle big jobs. I bought it because it is a Craftsman. It was bought used to replace another drill that was only good for light work. This drill outperforms the other drill hands down.
