Being at an age where I can relate to the Ladies of Covington may have added to my interest in this series, but I think any age group could empathize with them. One can feel the despair they felt in the first book when each lady, for their own reason, was sent to a nursing home. In this book they are really bring their lives together and realize that life is not over at any age as long as one can maintain health. Joan Medlicott, at 64, herself is proving that by starting this series. This series is a great inspiration to anyone reaching retirement or empty nest time of life. Each book leaves the reader wanting to know what these three elderly, very spry ladies are going to do next. There are no boring chapters in this book and it is very hard to lay down when necessary chores need tending.Read full review
