Memory works 100% and memtests 100%. Looked practically brand new! Not bad for some old performance memory. LEDs are cool but just flash in the pan for my needs. My only woe is that the Dell MB did not support the higher JTEC memory clock rate, which was why I bought this for on Dell Dimension 8400. Old tower but can still do most Minecraft stuff.

Whilst the memory was an upgrade, upon memtest'ing unfortunately only 3 of the cards worked, the 4th was giving errors.

Just upgraded from 6GB (`2x 1GB Crucial BallistiX + 2x 2GB Corsair XMS2) to 8 GB (4x 2GB Corsair XMS2). This maxes out my GA-P35-DS3L-rev-20 to give it another year or two of life. The XMS2 are super high quality and reliable especially the heat spreader. Used to be a Kingston only kind of guy but Corsair has really killed it with reliability. The other 2x DIMMs I have are going on 10 years. While I preferred the BalllistiX timings the voltage drop to accommodate the XMS2 makes more sense than have different speed memories. Noticeable impact in startup + load times.
