This is a newer book & the cover on my copy does not match the picture here ...mine has a pair of wire wrap earrings with red stones on the front cover (the ISBN# matches the one listed here so I know I have the right book). This book is all about the pictures and gaining inspiration & ideas from them! It is not for the beginner, you must be intermediate to advanced in skill level or just looking for inspiration. There many drool-worthy full color photos of finished pieces on every page! There are many different styles & artists featured in this book which offers a nice variety of ideas too! However, the instructions are very vague and many of the pictures do not include the entire piece so you can't even figure out how some pieces are constructed. I think it is kind of lame they wasted 22 pages at the beginning of the book with info on tools and techniques. This leads you to believe you will be creating the pieces in this book and there is no way with the canned info they provide you with in the introduction and the VERY VAGUE instructions with each project. I don't have a problem with books for ideas...I think if I get 2 or 3 ideas from a book it has more than paid for itself...If you're starting out buy a few beginner books first--you will easily get frustrated with this one or save the 'projects' in this one for a later date and drool over the pictures until your intuitive wire working skills improve!Read full review
