Purchased the Condor 3 day assault pack for use as an upgrade to my 72hr go/bug out bag (old bag was the Condor 134 assault pack w/shoulder bag). This isn't a high end Eberlystock bag, but then neither is the price (120 for multicam, 100 for black). This pack is pretty heavy duty for the price, has lots of storage capacity, and is built well. Fully loaded in my configuration weight is 35lbs (old bag was 20). Very comfy on hikes and fits my 6ft 2inch 215lb body perfectly. I was even able to take the shoulder bag from the old pack and clip it to this pack. The side pouches will fit a fold up Coleman E-tool or a standard sized boy scout handbook (and then some). PROS: Roomy, comfortable fully loaded, main pouch opens 180 degrees for easy access, big exterior side and back pouches, HD zippers, interior straps to hold gear in place, grab handles, fully adjustable and padded waist/shoulder straps, all of the adjustable straps are velcro tipped to allow for tucking of excess material to prevent snagging. CONS: Middle pouch with radio/pen/paper/gadget pockets is a bit narrow when pack is loaded. Bigger pack means heavier load capacity so be prepared for that. Slash pocket on the back good for thin items but not much else. I have heard of people getting these with bad zippers, ripped stitching, and torn fabric. I have not had that issue and Iwould definitely buy this again if this one ever wears out.Read full review
