I just recently purchased Eric Olsen & Fu Tung Cheng's "Concrete At Home". Let me tell you that this book is worth every penny and more. If you have a creative side and enjoy home design this book is for you. It gives you plenty of ideas and the directions are both user friendly and detailed. I recently completed my first concrete counter top using guidlines from this book, and let me say that the results were "outstanding". I highly recommend this to any avid do it yourselfer you will not be diasppointed. After this might I suggest Concrete Counter Tops from these gentlemen. Of all the books I have purchased over the years regarding this topic these 2 are by far my most utilized.
I purchased the DVD first and enjoyed it so much I followed up buying a couple of Fu Tung Cheng's books. They are a fantastic resource for novice concrete countertop builders but also for the professional as he includes tips that can only be learned from experience. The resulting products are beautiful and because you made it yourself becomes an heirloom type of piece that gives you great satisfaction. Kitchens get a lot of traffic and having a beautiful custom counter makes a great conversation topic because everyone seeing it for the first time is astounded and even more so when they find out you did it yourself. I would recommend all of Fu Tung Cheng's products.
A great companion to Concrete Countertops. Where the book on countertops explans the process to building flat surfaces, this book helps you to tackle the vertical sufaces. If you loved the book on countertops you'll love this one. The book reflects the beauty, artistry, and imagination of the product it teaches you to produce. Enjoy
Informative.

I bought this book based on the fact that the author was the guru of concrete. The book did not have much insight on the techniques themselves, which is why I bought it. So, I'll have to seek information on this elsewhere.
