I actually got this particular one for a friend of mine who is teaching himself Japanese. I have a Spanish one (Spain) and a German one (Germany). It's good stuff. All you have to do is read as the audio plays, repeat aloud, and talk to either native speakers or people that are already fluent, preferably natives. Don't worry about making mistake, that's how you learn. If you can't find natives there's a site called Italki.com where you can find people around the world and you can Skype them and do a language exchange, or practice with a professional tutor. One more thing: when looking for a Teach Yourself course and you're serious about the language buy a "Complete with two CDs" course. There are a bunch for other languages. If you just want to try the language to see if you like it then buy the "Get Started in" (language of choice). Always make sure it's with the two CDs though. Hope this helps! Viel Spass!Read full review
