This is my first shot timer. It's what 90% of they guys shooting at the matches are using. Who am I to argue. It's easy to use. Features like sensitivity to shots fired, min and max randomized beep start beep is nice. You can adjust the volume of the beeps which is nice for when you're dry firing with a sleeping wife in the room next to you. Backlight is also nice. One feature I live is the auto off feature. I always forget to turn things off and this has saved my batteries a few times already.

This thing works great and the price was good. It has a strong belt clip that stays on the belt. It took me a while to learn all the buttons but I have never owned a shot timer of any kind. Now I put the instruction book away in a file after a couple days. Looks and feels sturdy built. You can use the 2 beep feature to dry fire practice (1 shot) quick draw from all types concealment to open owb holster. You can easily see how much longer it takes to get a shot off when concealed. I do this about 200 times a day. Have a laserlyte pro trainer ($65) that fits in the barrel and shows you where you hit on a white paper target. Seems like you cant have accuracy and speed both. The longer distance and more accurate, the slower the shot. Makes sense.Your indoor practice on very cold days will help greatly when at the range outdoors. In the 2 weeks I have had this and the laser trainer, my shooting buddies have been left in the dust. You will find out different type shirts and jackets for concealment will hang up the gun. Remember to very slowly/carefully put the gun back in holster. This timer will help you sort out a method that works for you.Read full review

Our Sportsmen's club now has 5 of these timers and i personally have one. These timers are a work horse that can take match after match use and never let you down. Prior to purchasing these timers we used the R U Ready timers which were a disaster. I am an IDPA Match Director and have worked many sanction matches and monthly matches with my personal timer as well as practice sessions and all i have ever done was change the battery.

I like this timer.5-10 min. reading instructions is all you need. Easy to use, easy to set up. The battery flopped around a little so I just wrapped some duct tape around it to snug up the fit. It is just a tad bigger than I thought. But I really like it! Now I can time my shots from concealment, and my malfunction drills.

Pro's: seems to function well, provides the necessary data to drive improvement. Data is easy to understand, easy to toggle between data options. Priced right for the what it does. Con's: As per several YouTube reviews, units construction is low quality, but perhaps that's how they can offer the unit for a fair price.
