hands down the best and brightest light for the size and price. I own three for my crew and they take a beating and keep on going. Literally makes crawlspace a look like daytime. Eats batteries pretty quick so rechargeables are recommended. 10/10

This unit replaces one that had 2024 AA Duracell batteries in it for apx 6 months, a battery failed, corroded inside of tube and battery carrier had to be drilled out...no spare parts available...I'm using rechargeable s now and rotating use with another unit....don't stick it in drawer and assume it will be usable in 6 months.....

I bought this primarily for when there is a long-term power outage. The runtime on the low setting is stellar, and is also very usable on the low setting as well. The bright setting is only really usable for when you need either a spotlight or a searchlight. Also is lighter than a Maglite with superior build quality and engineering.

There are brighter torches, but $ for lumens and build quality plus the flexibility of variable focus makes this torch flat out sensational - and stock standard D cell batteries as well.

If you're looking for an extremely well built and very powerful flashlight, this is a good one to have. While there is a rechargable model available, I prefer the aaa battery model as I use recharhable batteries in it. I can shine this light and easily see 100 yards in pitch black night.
