Heard a funny noise in my dryer so I picked up this kit for short money. The dryer worked for the next few months and then the belt broke and I was glad to have this kit on hand. Pretty easy to take the dryer apart and the parts fit perfectly and got me up and running in no time. Perfect kit, rollers are nice and quiet and the belt grabs well

Will NOT fit Whirlpool WED6400SW1 although it has 4 rollers and is listed for Whirlpool. The Belt is wrong size and the idler bearing wheel is too big. I did manage to get the 4 rollers on using bearing grease, but they were tight and hard to do. Had to re order the right idler wheel and belt over.

My dryer started to squeal and after several weeks, the squealing gradually got louder. Searched you tube on how to take apart my dryer (it’s very easy and simple). After lifting the hood up, removing the front panel, and removing the drum, I noticed that there were black little pieces that looked like black powder around one of the rollers. I removed the roller and noticed that it had ground down one side of the roller. Upon further inspection, one of the washers were not in its proper place and probably caused the roller to wear down the way that it did. It was a quick and simple installation of both rollers and plastic washers. Now my dryer sounds the way it did when I first bought it. No squealing and runs smooth. It also came with the belt and I have not tried it yet since the original belt still looks and works great. Total job took maybe 30 minutes and saved me money on not having to call a repair person. Be sure to read reviews of some that are not OEM parts. People have complained about premature wear on the rollers and belts that fell apart after a couple weeks of use. Spend the few extra bucks and get the OEM parts. You will not be disappointed. The first photo shows the roller attached to the bracket. That’s the one that had severe wear. The second photo shows the roller on the right and you can see the tiny rubber pieces that wore off. The last photo shows the entire inside of my dryer. Again, very easy to replace the rollers. Just pull off/break off the plastic washer, slide the roller off, wipe the shaft down, replace the roller, and slide the new plastic washer right on and that’s it. It’s the same when you replace the roller on the right that connected to the bracket. All you have to do is pull off the metal cap, remove the plastic washer, remove the roller and remove the plastic washer behind the roller. Clean the shaft and replace all parts. It’s a very easy and quick fix.Read full review

This kit comes with all the necessary hardware to perform the belt and rollers maintenance. All the rollers come pre-lubed. While all things seemed decent, two items I needed to reuse from my existing parts. One is the belt roller. The one that came with the kit was not grooved. The other is the washer to the belt roller that came with the kit. It's made out of a very thin piece of plastic instead of the original metal one. Other than those 2, this kit was good and surely got rid of the squeaking problem on the dryer.

First of all my KENMORE DRYER 800, squeaking : found out tension-pulley badly wear out. After replaced all the parts, now quiet like brand new. The harder parts is how to reach there. Just go to YOUTUBE and find out how to disassembly the dryer step by step and you are there.
