It has good voice quality. I can take the phone outside away from the base & can hear the person talking to me very clearly farther away than my past cordless phones. The numbers on the phone are big & they light up. The ring is loud enough to be heard throughout our house& be made louder. The phone has flashing red lights when it rings. I am very happy with this phone.

Purchased this phone for 90 year old mom. my vintage G.E. cordless died(devoloped a dead short that knocked out phone service in the rest of the house. it was abused by my 22yr. old son who took outb his stress etc. on my cordless.
