Great budget cooking ideas
I checked this book out from the library first and tried a couple of the receipes. There are a ton of good receipes and they are all budget oriented. Along with the receipes are suggestions to make the dishes a little fancier if you don't mind spending the money and suggestions as to what to serve with the dishes. I don't eat any meat except fish and the book breaks its main dish categories down by main ingredient, which is nice for me. I don't have to comb through the book looking for receipes for me because there is a vegetarian and a fish section. There are also sections for soup, salads, and appetizers, so there is plenty to make the book worthwhile for me!I checked this book out from the library first and tried a couple of the receipes. As an avid cook, I have relied on my own copy of this book for numerous meals and get-togethers for friends and family....always with raving compliments! Titles such as Seared Chicken Breast with Red Onion Vinaigrette, Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms, and Coconut Rice Pudding with Fresh Mango sound exquisite and delicious... yet are relatively inexpensive to create. For anyone looking for some fun new recipes to impress your guests, I highly recommend this book.
