The binoculars are very good optically and mechanically. However, it seems Celestron have been changing the designation of this binocular from the original 'Ultima DX' to 'Skymaster DX' and now just plain 'Skymaster'. I found this somewhat disappointing as the box mine came in show the 'Skymaster DX' label but the binocular inside is labeled simply 'Skymaster'. Try explaining this when you come to sell them. My $59 (xmas sale) Celestron Cavalry's outperform these in daylight (due to a wider Field of View). Hopefully under night skies the Skymasters will rule ...
Really badly out of collimation out of the box. Celestron has gone out of its way so far to make it right. So keeping fingers crossed I will end up with a quality pair of binoculars.

Use it at night with spotting laser pointer. Am able to hold steady and view star. Haave been told best to put them on tripod and aim down at mirror but haven't tried yet.
