Have one in Ohio and bought one for Florida. No rusty hot plate bottom like Mr Coffee. Brews a perfect pot each and every time. The carafe stays hot for hours. Can't say enough good things about this pot. One bad thing. The lid on the pot has a tiny button on it to show where to twist/line up the lid to, for easy pour. REALLY the entire top is black and the little button is black blending in so you can hardly see it. Make it a small white dot, or stand up a bit larger so you can feel it. Be Safe, Gator

Really enjoying this coffee maker. Only been using about a month but first time using it I could taste the brewing of good coffee! We love carafes that you can take from room to room & stays pretty hot for a couple of hours. I answered no to "does it brew quickly?" but it takes no longer than our last coffee maker.....rather have it good than quick! Also a simple modern sleek appearance!

We had an earlier version of the MT600 that was used daily for 7-8 years...I forget how long. We loved the thermal carafe as opposed to the "hot plate" style brewers. If the drinking temperature was too cool after a couple of hours we just popped the mug in the microwave... No scorched flavor from sitting on the hot plate. The MT600+ is virtually identical: easy to use, easy to clean, proper brewing temperature, and nearly indestructible. There is a simple and inexpensive charcoal filter insert for those with a chlorinated or mineralized water supply. When our original unit finally died we tried a close-out hot-plate style brewer (also a Capresso) that was less expensive. After two months of dissatisfaction and considering everything including models costing hundreds of dollare, we purchased this one because of our previous experience. We're glad we did!Read full review

the mt 600 is the best auto drip coffeemaker i have ever owned; it is well made and easy to operate; especially like the small brew option for 3-4 cups that slows the brewing process down for max extraction of flavor from the unit.

The coffee is said to come out at 200 degrees and stay for four hours. The coffee is Luke warm in about 1 hour. I must warm it in the microwave after that. this pot is not a very good performer. I would not recommend this pot.
