Seller Notes: “Vintage Camillus #1 Cocobolo Liner Lock knife circa-1946 to 1950. It measures 4" closed. It has a ... “Vintage Camillus #1 Cocobolo Liner Lock knife circa-1946 to 1950. It measures 4" closed. It has a lanyard hole. It has Perfect Walk and Talk with a fairly full and fairly sharp hardened carbon blade with plenty of character and rust. It Locks up tight and secure and it has steel liners with a brass liner lock liner. The old Cocobolo handles are beautiful and tight. Beautiful Antique pruning/gardening knife with a Perfect Patina throughout (IMO). Again though It has rust with heavy pitting and darkening of the old hardened carbon blade. This knife dates from 1946-50 and was made by the now defunct knife manufacturers "Camillus Cutlery". The knife was retrieved from the gunnel of a old WWII PT Boat used in the Korean conflict and it purportedly belonged to the Bow gunner, I don't know anymore than that. It's a true USA made collectible from a bygone era. It has plenty of character and many stories to tell if it could talk. A Great USA Collectible or EDC for anything. YOU BE THE JUDGE”
