Wow! What an awesome driver. I bought this to replace my Callaway X460 driver. The high trajectory loft gets the ball in the air and the senior flex made it easy to hit. I couldn't believe how far the ball went the first time I hit it. The ball was easily 20 yards pass where I normally drive the ball with my old driver. My old driver was also high trajectory but with a regular shaft. The swing also required no effort at all. I do have to tee the ball lower as the face is not as deep as my previous driver. The only disappointment was the sound of the club impacting the ball. The sound is more muted rather than the traditional "ping" off a metal wood. As a senior who is losing swing speed, this club is fantastic. Easy to hit, super long and straight. I can also work the ball with a fade or a draw without too much difficulty.Read full review
Its a great club and a really great price from Rock Bottom Golf. I received it the very next day after I paid. It has a big sweet spot and it has a good look. It doesn't take a hundred words to describe what a great driver this is especially for the price. I liked it so much that I also bought the Callaway RAZR Black 3 wood, also bought from Rock Bottom Golf in Suffolk VA through ebay I would recommend this driver to anyone who wants a state of the art club at a fraction of the price. When they first came out about 3 years ago they retailed for $300 and you still paid $165 at a golf store
This driver is surprising different from any driver I've every hit. The feed back is like you are mashing the ball into the face and feel the ball as it comes off hot. I went from a 11 degree Big Bertha Diablo set up for a draw to 10.5 degree regular face. Both clubs have regular flex shafts in standard length. The Motore shaft seems a bit stiffer and it's definately about an inch longer. I just played my third round with the club. After the first two rounds I made sure I made it to the driving range before hand. I made some very minor adjustments and presto I was consistently hitting the ball straighter and longer with my fade almost eliminated. Some hits were almost shockingly straight.
I have been playing with a Callaway Diablo 10* driver, I few times a round I would leave the shot out to the right. Decided to try the Razr Black at demo days. I was very pleased. Purchased a 10.5* (no offset) as compared to the 9.5* that is 1* open. This club is a lot easier to hit and is approx. 10/15 yards farther. I like the ball flight and the ball is consistently straighter than my old driver. My swing does not justify the extra cost of an adjustable head, since I would set it to Normal and leave it. Good luck, great club for the price.
I bought this club after hitting it at Dick's Sporting Goods. I hit it very well at the store and everything I hit was 300 yards down the middle. I have a heck of a fade/slice usually so I wanted to get a club that was forgiving. This club is forgiving. I have had a lot of success with it as long as I take a good "pass" at the ball. I love it's feel, but don't really like the sound it makes which is why I gave the 4 stars. It will improve your game and get you down the fairway.
