Beautiful at address, great feel at impact, decent sound. Ball flight is low to mid boring trajectory. Hot faced woods have been around a while and there are some that just are not consistent, thus they are uncontrollable. Fortunately, this fairway wood does not have this problem. It offers tremendous consistency. Somewhat low profile makes it easy to hit off the turf, but fortunately, it is also good for teeing up. Finding a 3 wood that works well off both has been a problem and now it has been resolved. It is not draw biased, so teeing it does not put the left side hook into play, though the wood is very workable if you have the skill.
I wanted to try if I could improve my long game by changing the Taylor Made R9 Tp fairway woods to these. I must say that the difference was bigger than I ever expected. These Razr Hawk woods are simply so soft at impact and the deliver a penetrating flight ( like my old ones) but they are at least one club longer! Very good at address, straight face (feels like 1-2 degree open) simply my best pic sofar. I do not wonder why these hold their price better than the next year model as they are simply so much better. Highly recommended! Mr Livestream
Good distance...good accuracy. You need to hit the ball with club...less forgiving than Razr X Black. Ball can be worked with this club. Sound at impact is no indicator of the quality of the shot but the ball does come off the face well and I am pleased with the distance. This club is getting more difficult to find on the market...like A lot of previous good clubs...must be a reason. I like this club...should give it a look.
Great looking club at set up. Easy to hit and forgiving at miss hits.

I have the 3+ version is stiff flex. Very solid club. It has a higher profile than other callaway fairway woods by at least a 1/16". I have trouble skying my 3 wood off the tee and this seems to have reduced this problem. I also hit off the deck with no problem. Stock shaft is not bad either. I still may reshaft with a diamana down the road though.
