Another masterpiece from director Micheal Haneke, a film artist who demands much from a viewer. For a successful viewing experience, the viewer must SIT and WATCH, regardless of how unsettled, anxious, and tense one becomes- - and uncomfortable you will be. Plan on it. Cache includes numerous, incredibly long scenes in which the camera remains stationary, a device used to exceptionally nervy effect! As anxiety-inducing Cache becomes, an observant film lover will realize this unnerving movie respects the viewer's intelligence by providing genuine suspense from excellent acting performances, edgy visuals and Haneke's top-notch directing efforts. Go for it -- watch this movie! You'll never see another movie like it. Ever. And isn't that a refreshing thought in our current cardboard-cutout copy film world?Read full review
Ah, amazing film. Kind of slow, don't watch this movie if you're tense or in a hurry. Only watch it at night when you're relaxed. Amazing flick. A+ directing, A+ cinematography, A+ acting, & A+ writing. Subtitled if you can't understand french, they don't make movies with the subtitles in mind, so people talk normally, pretty fast actually, so you have to read pretty fast which isn't too bad really. This film has Hitchcock flavors in it which makes this movie an amazing thriller. Pretty much all this movie is about is the deteriorating of a family by mysterious tapes and pictures the family receives. The end of the movie is amazing and extremely gripping. The film builds well and it just feels so real, you forget you're watching a movie, you feel you're in it really. This is what the best movies out there do, this requires so much talent on everyone's part that was involved in making the movie. Low budget film but still very stunning and fulfilling. Most likely you will, after watching the film, have you mouth wide open and you're jaw touching the ground trying to comprehend what happened in this film... buy itRead full review
Good performances by Daniel Auteuil and Juliette Binoche. Be patient and you'll find the suspense building steadily. This film requires your close attention, especially the flashbacks. The absence of a musical soundtrack might distract you from what's gradually unfolding on screen. I suspect that you'll surely be scratching your head when the final credits roll, but you'll be rewarded with additional insights upon a second viewing. The interview with the director will help unravel SOME of the mystery too.
Great flick if you like stories that leave you hanging. I can guess at the ending and the who's and the reasons, but I don't like to work that hard at entertainment. I look for answers all week at work. And you'll love the music. You won't need subtitles for the tunes.

Michael Haneke is an acquired taste but his film is a little more accessible. The making of segment is interesting
