I'm writing this review to say that this product probably needs several iterations of charging before it reaches its full potential. I suspect that it had been sitting in storage for a while, so when I first tried to charge them they would only hold charge for a few seconds before dying. Each time I would charge/drain the battery, it would last longer. After doing this several times it has now reached its maximum battery life, and lasts for around a week (with heavy use) before needing to be charged again. So don't worry if it seems broken when you first try, just give it some time.

The battery life on this is wonderful! My kids play Xbox a lot and it has a long battery life. The first couple of charges didn't last too long but after that it lasts for a long time!

this is a great buy for anyone that has a wireless controller! this helps out a lot! your battery dies, no need to run down to the store, just recharge it, and plug it in, perfect and easy! as for me, I mod controllers with lights and rapid fire, and that might take some extra power, but with this battery back, it helps because you do not have to buy more and more batteries, it works just like that! perfect, and easy to recharge! recommended for anyone with wireless controllers!
