I've had one of these for many years and recently purchased another for my son. We use traditional style muzzleloaders and these work as well as any, plus they have the nipple pick that screws out the top end for cleaning nipples, touch holes, etc.

It was a little to big for my 1851 navy pistol. I had a hard time getting it between the cylinder and nipple. I trimmed and shaped some with a dremmel tool for a good fit. Other than that it seems to be a good product.

Probably the best, most useful combination nipple wrench/nipple pick ever devised for field use. Works for No. 11 precussion cap and similar sized nipples only. NOT for musket or 209 shotgun sized nipples. Probably not sturdy enough for professional gunsmith use and probably will not break loose nipples that have rusted in for 150 years. But other than that, you will probably misplace this little gem before you get close to wearing it out!

The is a very handy nipple wrench and it also has a pick in it to pouch out debris from the nipple without removing the nipple. a good buy.

It is listed for pistols as well as rifle but when I went to use it on my six shot navy pistol it was too big ib diameter and wouldn't work.
