I've had numerous radar detectors over the years. This is the best one I have ever used..!!! I used it on a family trip while touring the South this last summer. It saved my butt on numerous occasions when the cops were hiding and running a trap..!!! It saw them WAY BEFORE they saw me, and by then, I was doing the speed limit.

its a great product, easy to use. i bought it beacuse i got a mustang and needed something for the police. the only dislike is when i have my radio on loud its hard to hear it, i wish it was a little louder. i never used any type of radar detectors before so i cant compare it to any other one

Amazing Producto. Detects all radar and laser Lidar. The Cobra XRS 9965 is user friendly and reliable, making it a good choice in radar detectors. With an optional GPS locator for tracking fixed traffic cameras, you will always know what to expect when it comes to traffic patterns. However, you will have to purchase the GPS Locator separately from the radar detector itself. We also really like the fact that this comes with IntelliMute, which automatically mutes the alarms with the speed your vehicle is traveling.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO BUY FROM THEM. I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCTS. THE NEW RADER HAD A BLUE LINE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN. I CALLED THEM THE 1 ST TIME THEY TOLD ME THEY WILL PAY FOR MY SHIPPING AND THEY WERE GOING TO SEND ME THE INFORMATION HOW TO SEND IT. THEY DID NOT SEND ME THE INFORMATION THEN I CALLED THEM THE 2ND TIME WHICH THEY TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING BACK TO THEM WHICH I DID AND THEY WERE GOING TO GIVE $10 BACK WHICH I SAID YOU CAN PUT THAT TOWARD SENDING THE PRODUCT FASTER BACK TO ME AS A REPLACEMENT. I MADE SURE PUT IT IN THE BOXED AND MADE SURE SOMEONE SIGNS FOR IT WHEN IT GETS THERE. THE DAY THE REPLACEMENT COMES TO MY HOUSE IT IS SEND WITH FED-EX IN ORIGINAL BOX WITH THE FED-EX STICKER LEFT IN THE RAIN BOX WAS DAMAGED FROM THE RAIN ( WHY WHOULD YOU LEAVE A $200 PRODUCT WITH THE ORIGINAL BOX IN THE RAIN AND NOT MAKE ANYONE SINGED FOR IT). ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE FRIENDLY PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE. THAT WAS THE GOOD THING NICE PEOPLE. BUT VERY STUPID THINGS THEY DO RUN THE PLACE.(BAD)Read full review
